Sometimes it gets to be too much for me but I know it’s for our property so I go along. Hindi nga eh. We have the worst grass in the neighborhood. And TheFisherman feels ahamed about it.
Promise to post pics when they’re worthy enough.

And gardening is very good exercise too!
We do take advantage of the nice weather, otherwise before you know it, winter na naman.

A vegetable garden would be awesome! We used to have tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants. Tween1 even planted corn. But it does take a lot of work! Herbs and perennials are the better way to go, IMHO.

wow, if i have a husband like fisherman, i would be so grateful. and i don’t mind helping out shoveling and wheelbarrowing, either. i bet you have the best backyard in the neighborhood. would love to see some pix of your backyard this summer.

Hi Mary. Wow, sounds like you’ve been quite busy. I think it’s great that you are taking advantage of the season to do some worthwhile projects.

I think it’s a nice coincidence because yesterday I failed to go online because I was too tired from gardening. I did some much needed weeding and trimming of some plants.

Hi Avee,
I planted herbs last year and I didn’t know that some of them come back. My husband made these flower bed type vegetable garden and that’s where I have the herbs. Namigay nga ako kasi sobrang dami, ground cover tuloy ang dating nya.
As for the flowers, we have perennials and one I really love is the wildflower patch I have at the side of the house. We bought the canned seeds from Walmart and sulit na sulit sya! So far 3 seasons na yata ‘yon.
